Vietnam Plus reported that Vietnam ministry of industry and trade has decided to conduct an anti-dumping investigation into aluminium, alloy or non-alloy rods, bars and products of other shapes imported from China. Under Decision 33/QD-BCT, the products under investigation are coded HS 7604.10.10, 7604.10.90, 7604.29.10, and 7604.29.90, with their accused dumping amplitude measured at 35.58 percent. The ministry said these products have caused damage to domestic production, as reflected through decreases in inventory, profit, and capacity usage ratio, among others.
The investigation is launched at the request of four local shape aluminium producers Austdoor, Song Hong Aluminium JSC, Tung Yang Co Ltd and MienHua company, which hold a combined 31.54 percent of the domestic output.
Other companies can registered as a related party in the case before February 28.
